Daniel Luís is currently the scientific director of HeartGenetics and his work is mainly focused on genetics applied to the cardiovascular, pharma and well-being areas.

He holds a degree in Biochemistry and a Master in Molecular Genetics and Biomedicine from the NOVA School of Science and Technology.

Previously, he was a researcher at the ITQB (UNL) and at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Lisbon (UL). He has authored and co-authored publications in international journals and a book chapter on nanomedicine.
