- Member of the College of Orthopedics and Traumatology of the Portuguese Medical Association
- Currently working as an Orthopedic Surgeon at ULSNA – North Alentejo Local Unit, at Hospital de Portalegre and at Hospital de Elvas
- Diploma in Homeopathy from the International Confederation of Homeopathy and Biotherapy Societies (Paris, France), in May 1990
- Founding member and President of the Portuguese Society of Homeopathy since 1987
- Founding Member and President of CHIHOMEO – Integrative Homeopathy Center Association, since 2017
- Pedagogical Coordinator and Organizer of the INTEGRATIVE HOMEOPATHY COURSE (European Program) since 1987 (currently in its 33rd Course edition), organized by the International Academy of Integrative Homeopathy, with the support of the National Association of Pharmacies
